The Human Eye - does it really 'see'?

The Human Eye
The human eye is an incredible organ.  Not only does it not grow from the moment we are born but with over 2 million working parts it is our window to the world, or the window to our soul.

We know our eyes change colour from birth, but do they actually see color?
